Book Summary
Two magicians set their best disciples to compete and train them from their childhood. The competition takes place at a mystical circus which is open only during night. Detailed Review
I started to read this book after listening to the reviews of one of my favorite booktubers - A Clockwork Reader. She promised many enticing things from this book, and the book did not fail to deliver those promises. Two magicians set their best disciples to compete and train them from their childhood. The competition takes place at a mystical circus which is open only during night. The competition is not a dual, and the contestants don't know the rules of the competition or how the victory is determined. As the contestants fall in love with each other, the plot thickens.
The Night Circus is a hard book to summarize, utter chaos, but for the first time in months I felt that I was living in a magical world. The story was well-written. Although more than the storyline, the part which stood out to me is how this book makes the reader glide through the pages without effort, stimulating every inch of his imagination. And I really mean it when I say this, that this book is not everyone’s cup of tea. If you like fantasy, magic, and beautiful descriptive prose, this book will bewitch you.
Bottom Line
Must read for fantasy lovers. I can’t wait to read the next book of Erin Morgenstern.
